The Vendor Locator groups all of those features that have to do with outside vendors, businesses, etc. As such, it includes Coupons and Discounts, Jobs for Bid, Neighborhood Recommended Vendors, Resident Businesses, Sponsor Preferred Lenders, Sponsor Recommended Vendors, and the Sponsors and Co-Sponsors feature.

Coupons and Discounts
Sponsors, and co-sponsors, have the ability, within their respective administration sections, to offer discounts, or provide coupons to the neighborhood, group, church, or whatever they are sponsoring. As paying sponsors, and co-sponsors, it just makes sense that members of the particular entity try to utilize the services of these vendors, whenever possible. By providing coupons and discounts, it gives even more reasons, and incentives.

Jobs for Bid
Should a member, or the organization that has the web site, have a need to get bids, or find a vendor to assist with some need, this is where it can be posted. This will show up both in this member's only area, and the public area, so that outside vendors may pick up on it. As an example, if a member was looking for someone to remove a tree from their property, they could post that request here. They can even post a photo of the item that they wish to find help with.

Neighborhood Recommended Vendors
It is here where registered members can post recommended vendors. In this way, other members will have a better chance of having a good experience when needing the services of the same type of vendor. Within this area, we provide the ability to create categories of vendors, a title/header, who the recommending member is, details of the recommendation, contact name for the vendor, contact company for the vendor, an address, phone number, web site, e-mail, and an expiration date for the posting.

Member Businesses
The member business directory accumulates the names of each business that has been entered into the Member Businesses section. Here, members are able to post general information about the business they are in. Functions available to them, in this area, include the ability to post the business name, another company name, address, phone, fax, e-mail address, a website link, a photo, a logo, and a section describing what the business is all about, or what they do.

By clicking on any particular business, within the directory, it will take the site visitor to the page describing, and providing, the information about that business.

Sponsor Recommended Lenders
Every once in awhile, people need to contact a lender. They may be purchasing another home, or refinancing their present one. Since this is not something we all do very often, it's hard to know who to contact. The local real estate sponsor of the site, works with lenders all the time. As such, they can post on the site, those lenders they would recommend.

Sponsor Recommended Vendors
Just like sponsor lenders, the local real estate professional works with various other business entities in their everyday course of doing business. This is where they can post their recommendations for plumbers, electricians, landscapers, or any number of other professions.

Sponsor/Co-sponsors
The sponsor/co-sponsor button brings up a list of all sponsors, and co-sponsors, participating in the cost of maintaining the site. Here, members can find their contact information, and a photo/logo, if they uploaded one. The main sponsor is typically the real estate category. The other nineteen categories of the Top 20 Research areas can be co-sponsored. This gives another way to find someone in any of twenty particular professions.
