   By now, you are probably convinced that it's important to create Top of Mind Awareness amongst your chosen target market. However, if you're not totally convinced that you need to take action right now to get TOMA, or are a little unsure as to how to go about it, we'd like to share more with you about the subject. We've studied TOMA in great depth, and I personally subscribe to it as my main means to produce income from my real estate business. TOMA has actually allowed me to spend most of my time these days developing more and better means of creating TOMA. My real estate business pretty much runs by itself nowadays, as more and more consumers simply call my team to come out and list or sell them a house!

 
Out of Sight, Out of Mind
In today's competitive world, being out of sight and out of mind will definitely lead to the demise of your business. You are probably hearing and reading more and more about this very subject. Stay in front of your audience! When you understand the importance of staying in front of the consumer and maintaining your position at the top of their mind, your business will flourish. If you don't, it won't. Simple as that.
 
A Major Purchase
I love statistics. Boring maybe to some, but check this one out. According to a study done by Chilton research, the time buyers take from the point of beginning to plan a purchase of a major item, such as a home, to the point of signing on the dotted line was as follows:
15% - Bought within the first three months
24% - Bought within four to six months
34% - Bought within seven to twelve months
27% - Bought more than twelve months later
As you can see, it's very important that you stay in front of these consumers over the long haul.
 
Today's Buyer
The typical real estate buyer or seller has changed over the years. Today's consumers are...
Skeptical They don't know how to find somebody they can trust.
Cautious They want to see the whole picture, gather all of the facts, and think through their decision.
Tired of sales pressure Consumers are simply fed up with junk mail, unsolicited emails, and phone solicitations.
Busy They are so busy that they often don't take the time to address a problem until it becomes critical, or until someone shows them a quick and easy solution.
Confused They simply have too many choices, and when they start out to purchase, or sell a home, they don't know what to do, where to look, or whom to believe.
