This is where members would go to find the latest news for their neighborhood, club, church, or any other entity the site was designed for. Within this section, they will find Announcements, Discussions, the Event Calendar, Lost and Found, Reviews, New Members, Newsletters, Surveys and Polls, and the E-mail Bulletins feature.

Announcements
Announcements accumulates any postings made through the members only announcements function, and any other announcement areas on the web site, whereby the members of various committees, clubs, or organizations have made announcements that they wish to be posted to the general membership.

Discussions
Discussions is basically a forums section, whereby registered members can enter into discussions under a variety of topics. Posts, and responses to those posts will accumulate within each of these categories.

Discussion sections can also be found, throughout the site, in other areas such as in the board only area, committees, clubs and organizations, and kids stuff. Within these separate areas, discussions are able to be kept to that area, or posted both to that area, and to the general discussions section.

Event Calendar
The Event Calendar allows for members to post various events that are coming up. This could be a homeowners meeting, a committee or group meeting, a field trip for kids, a cooking club get together, or any number of other activities that may be occurring.

Other areas of the web site, also have their own calendars. Within these areas, members of the committee, board, club, organization or what have you that has the calendar, can post items to their particular calendar that will appear there, plus will have the option of having it appear on the general calendar.

Lost and Found
Whether it's a lost dog, or cat, watch, or other item, it can be posted here for members to become aware of. In addition, this section is posted for the public to view. This way, it provides a greater chance of the item being recovered. In addition to the details of the item, a photo can be uploaded.

Reviews
Reviews lets members post reviews about anything they would like. If they read a book they'd like to talk about, or tried a new restaurant, this is where they could post a review. It could even be about a new product, or service they discovered. This is a great place to share experiences with others.

New Members
New members is a chronological collection of new members that have just joined the neighborhood, club, church, etc. Details displayed, could include their name(s), children(s) name, address, date they joined the neighborhood, club, etc., hobbies and interests they may have, their profession, where they work, photos, or any other information that would be accessible through the site by the members.
When a member registers, they are able to check a New Member box, with a date of joining. Any registrations, detected as a New Member, will show up in this section. In addition, a committee, board member, or site administrator can enter information into this section.

Newsletters
Newsletters is where a registered member can upload a newsletter that they created as a Word or PDF file. It could be for any of the Top 20 categories, or a category they create themselves with the category creation function. This may be where they have an interest in something that they would like to share, or they may work for some agency that they want to post the newsletter for, or any number of other newsletters they may be involved in outside of the community.

In addition, this is where you would find newsletters regarding the particular community, organization, church, or whatever entity is operating the particular web site. Along with the ability to upload PDF, and Word documents, this feature also provides a text editor that can be used to create the newsletter right on the site.

Surveys and Polls
This section is really handy for a neighborhood, or organization of any kind, to conduct informal surveys and polls, regarding things that have been brought up for discussion. As an example, say that at the last homeowner's meeting, a neighborhood had discussed possibly fencing the playfield. A poll could be posted, whereby residents could indicate their position, as being for, or against, the idea.

E-mail Bulletins
The E-mail Bulletins function, allows for a member to receive regular updates, regarding those areas on the web site they have interest in receiving. As an example, if someone were to post an announcement to the site, the subscriber to the announcement section of the bulletins, would receive an e-mail with a snippet of information about the announcement, along with a link to go directly to the announcement page on the website for further information.
